Lucas Neufeld is an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. He was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and has been providing nursing care to his community since 2010. Lucas received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University in Jackson Tennessee and began working as a bedside and charge nurse in the medical and surgical unit at Baptist Hospital following graduation with his registered nurse degree. He continued working there until while he obtained his Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2014 from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing with focus in acute care.
After obtaining certification as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Lucas began working as a nurse practitioner providing exceptional care for patients admitted to the Hematology and Oncology service at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. During that time he gained valuable experience in managing complex patients with multiple medical diagnoses.
Lucas now comes to Integumetrix with valuable experience in internal medicine, hematology, oncology and general and vascular surgery patients. He will be providing wound care as an Integumetrix consultant for inpatient, outpatient and skilled nursing facility patients needing advanced wound management for acute and chronic wounds.
