Kelly Fairbanks is a certified nurse practitioner through The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has background experience in Oncology, Medical-Surgical, and Hospice nursing care. She holds a certification in Medical Surgical nursing from the Medical Surgical Nursing Certification Board and has worked 7 years as a staff and charge nurse here in Tennessee. Prior to moving to Tennessee, Kelly was raised in Ohio and graduated from Columbus State Community College in 2006 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Kaplan University in 2010. Kelly then pursued post graduate work at Tennessee Technical University where she received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Integumetrix will utilize Kelly’s skills in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care. She has Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy training and continues to work for a local hospice company offering her wound care specialties to patients during end of life care.
Kelly is a mother and wife who loves spending time with her family. She volunteers as Creative Worship Director at her local church and helps out there in various roles.
