Ashley Wright was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia and has been providing nursing care to the Chattanooga community since 2012. In 2005, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and began practicing as a bedside nurse in cardiac step down and cardiac intensive care where she gained valuable experience in critical care.
In 2012, Ashley began working in home health care where she discovered her passion for wound care and ultimately a passion for healing. Providing care in the home health setting resulted in gaining vast experience with the geriatric population, chronic disease management, patient education, wound prevention and healing and holistic care of patients.
In 2015, she returned to school and obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and became a board certified family nurse practitioner.
Ashley is joining the Integumetrix team to provide consultations for acute and chronic wounds and education regarding assessment, prevention, and healing to bedside nurses, other allied staff and patients.
