Kristen Burney is a certified Family Nurse practitioner. She was born and raised in the Nashville area and has been providing nursing care since 2009.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Tennessee Tech University and began her nursing career working in an Intensive Care Unit.
Her passion for providing high quality wound care developed after working in a Diabetes and wound care center.
After receiving her Master of Science degree in Nursing and certifying as a nurse practitioner in 2014 Kristen specialized in pain management. Working in this specialty she saw a greater need for patients battling wounds.
Utilizing evidence-based practice Kristen is now positively impacting and caring for patients with acute and chronic wounds through Integumetrix.
